The Jackson Leadership and Management Institute Business School was founded in early 2016. With the motto of “Bringing education to the people. Sizisa imfundo ebantwini”; the institute aims at providing leading accredited training qualifications to rural areas. The primary focus being that of Port St Johns and surrounding areas with a strategic vision of expanding into further communities throughout the Eastern Cape.
Today many learners from rural communities do not have access to universities or formal training institutions and are faced with leaving home to sought after that much-needed degree or diploma. This comes at a high financial cost to parents. JLMI Business Schools looks at bringing these qualifications to the people and at a more cost-effective way. With state of the art training venues, multimedia classes as well as a computer lab, JLMI will ensure that their accredited qualifications meet the needs of our youth.
Courses are offered on a full-time basis and cover the full spectrum of Business Management. Lectures are held from Monday to Friday at Codesa Farm in Gomolo, at Tombo Area of Port St Johns. All lecturers are qualified and have vast experience in the corporate field which will ensure that students get the best teaching methods available today.
